Hurtsfall New Single 'Memento Mori'

Nottingham, UK based darkwave/post-punk trio, Hurtsfall, have recently dropped their dark and alluring new single, 'Memento Mori'.

This shadowy offering is driven forward by a nocturnal bass groove and layered keyboards which create an immersive frozen synth atmosphere. Together, they provide the perfect darkwave backdrop for a soulful yet vampiric lead vocal to emerge.

“Memento Mori is about that moment where a relationship is overshadowed by the awareness that everything is temporary. We wrote and produced it ourselves in Nottingham, drawing on influences like The Cure, Depeche Mode and Joy Division, but trying to keep the vocal as direct and human as possible.”
